- Learning on your own does not mean you need to be alone, without a partner. There are various ways in which you can team up with another language learner.
- Look for e-learning opportunities to use the target language on the Internet through e-mail, online language web sites, web magazines and online chats. Here are some ideas for discussion topics for different levels of language learning.
- Register for a language course on the Internet which allows you to study at your own pace and provides you with contacts with other people taking the same course.
- Try Tandem Learning and link up with a learner in the country of your target language.
- Virtual worlds provide different and motivating platforms to play and learn with other language learners.
