Virtual worlds (or MOOs)

There are several "virtual worlds" (or MOOs, as they are known) specifically designed for language learning. In a MOO you can «build» your own environment and communicate with other «players». MOOs are rather like an online computer game, so if you like the sound of that it could be a good way to practise the language you're learning. For more information see the ICT4LT glossary
